Crude Oil
Our JV sources a wide range of crude grades from around the world to meet customer refinery requirements. This includes light sweet benchmarks (e.g. WTI, Brent, Dubai) and heavier sour blends. Globally, the most quoted crudes are West Texas Intermediate (US), Brent (North Sea) and Dubai (UAE), and we can arrange similar oils or regional blends. (Crude is classified as “light” if API ≥ 34°, “heavy” if ≤30°, and as “sweet” if sulfur <0.5% or “sour” if >1.0%.)
We trade both FOB and CIF contracts. Under FOB, the buyer takes delivery at the load port and arranges onward shipment; under CIF, we handle shipping and insurance to your destination port. For example, we could offer Dubai or Basrah crude FOB Fujairah or CIF Colombo per your request. Our JV’s strength is in logistics and market access – we coordinate tanker liftings, charter vessels, and paperwork so that large-volume crude cargoes move smoothly from source fields to your refinery.
