Diesel (En 590)

Our JV supplies EN 590-standard diesel (Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel), meeting or exceeding global benchmarks. EN 590 is the European specification for road diesel (also called ULSD) It mandates very low sulfur (max ~10 mg/kg) and a high cetane number (≥51), ensuring cleaner combustion and engine performance. EN 590 even allows up to 7% biodiesel (FAME) blending for renewable content. This means our diesel not only meets emission and engine warranties but also aligns with evolving fuel standards and sustainability targets.

Major applications include heavy-duty transport and industry: EN 590 diesel fuels trucks, buses and passenger vehicles, as well as construction and farm machinery. It’s also used in stationary power generators, diesel-electric locomotives, and some marine diesel engines. (Low-grade fuel oils power large ships, but refined diesel meets modern engine needs.) Through the GC-BNA JV, customers get reliable EN 590 diesel supply via sea or land transport. Our combined trading network and tanker fleet ensure we can quote competitive pricing FOB port or CIF to your location, fitting any delivery preference. Key highlights include:
